Retainer keeping shifting teeth in place?

I had braces on my bottom teeth over 2 years ago, then I wore my retainer for a solid 2 years, and the past 3-4 months I slowly weined off of my retainer, the past few days my bottom teeth have felt funny and I look in the mirrior this morning and noticed a small shift in on of the teeth. I put my retainer back in and it fits perfectly.

Should I just keep on wearinng my retainer? Will that cause the shift to stop. I don't expect my teeth to get back to the perfect alignment they use to have unless I get more braces.

But do Ya'll know if just wearing the retainer will keep it in place and prevent any further shifting of my teeth?

thanks!

YOU NEED TO WEAR THEM AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK FROM NOW ON AND CHECK IF THEY FIT, IF THEY FEEL TIGHT IT MEANS TEETH MOVED THEN INCRESE THE TIME OF WEAR UNTIL THEY FEEL THEY FIT NICE AGAIN. THIS IS CALLED BEING YOUR OWN ORTHODONTIST.
Reply:keep wearing it.
Reply:yeah i've had braces..and my dentist said that teeth have memory and will move back to their originial position. I've lost my retainers so lucky my top teeth haven't moved but my bottom teeth have moved, so if I were you I'd keep wearing those retainers. Also, never wrap your retainers in a napkin!! That's how I lost mine and it's pretty common to do so.
