Advice on getting my crooked teeth fixed a.s.a.p?

I have crooked bottom teeth. The front four are crooked. I have two back teeth that became decayed a few months ago and I do not have a regular dentist. I couldn't afford it before. I have very low confidence on finding a perfect dentist who will understand me and give me the best advice. What should I do?

Advice on getting my crooked teeth fixed a.s.a.p?
You have to see a dentist and ask him for a referral to an orthodontist who are the specialists in making teeth braces. It might be a bit costly but it will be all worth it. You might know of some friends or relatives or other people who had the same problem. You might want to talk to them for some advice and good referrals.

I had very crooked teeth and some even one on top of the other like dracula. Now, they're all perfectly straight.
Reply:Braces
Reply:See a dentist to clean up your teeth and get braces...
Reply:Call around several dentists in your area to check to see whether they will meet with you for a consultation (hopefully for free). This will give you the opportunity to meet them in person, check out the office, and see whether you would like to work with them. Come prepared with questions and if price is a concern, also use the opportunity to "shop around" for the deal that works best for you. Good luck.
Reply:You should ask friends and family about a dentist they would suggest to you. If there is no one around who can give you advice about a dentist they think is understanding and kind then you should just try to find a dentist in your area. If you go there the first time and you don't like how they treat you, you never have to go back. It might take some time, but it will be worth it when you find the perfect one for you.
Reply:Well, If you are not happy with your smile.. Then Yes, you should fix it. Sounds to me like you need braces, and some teeth removed.. If you can't afford it, there are some Assistance programs that you can apply for. Why would you think a dentist would not understand you? That's wait they get paid for.. To understand, help, and restore or fix a smile.
Reply:Ask around, maybe your friends could suggest a good dentist? I've had bad dentists before too.

And get braces! If your bottom teeth are crooked due to crowding, that usually gets fixed pretty quick (things like overbites take alot longer to fix). You can get invisalign (which is more expensive than traditional), clear or even braces on the backs of your teeth. And remember to brush and floss, and you may want to use a mouth rinse with flouride if you live in an area without flouridated water! (like Oral B). Good Luck!
Reply:If I were you, I'd go see a dentist and then an orthodontist who specializes in braces. With overcrowding of teeth, you may have to have a couple extractions to make room. Both a dentist and an orthodontist can be found in the Yellow Pages but a reference from someone you know who wears braces would be best. If you tell the doctors your financial situation, they may be able to set you up with a reasonable payment plan. Don't expect a quick-fix. Braces are often worn for a couple years or more.
Reply:Depending on your insurance or your budget your choices may be limited. Remember that you have the right to ask as many questions as you want BEFORE saying "Ahhhh".

Even ask to sit down with your dentist prior to going into the exam room.

First deal with the two decayed teeth. A cavity can affect your whole health. You may, depending on your comfort level, want to make apointment for each procedure.

Also read about dentists on line. What happens and what you should expect. Take a friend with you to hold your hand.
Reply:Braces, don't be embarrased. I had braces my senior year
