Bad teeth, what should I do... maybe veneers?

so im only 19, female, and my teeth are really bad. I take care of them by brushing twice a day, and flossing at least once and using mouth wash.. i do admit i probably dont eat the healthiest i should, so im sure that effects it. i also just got my braces off and i was expecting to have nice straight teeth, but they're not perfectly straight and i have tons of cavities and they are yellow. i want my teeth to be perfectly straight, healthy and no cavities. it seems like my teeth are always in bad shape, ever since i was like 14. i've been thinking about getting veneers, but i know they are SUPER expensive and idk how long they last and stuff.. but i just dont know what else to do about my teeth in order for them to be perfect.. what should i do? veneers, other options? what are the pros and cons of veneers or any info would be great.. ?? thanks!!

It depends on how bad your teeth really are. Sometimes a professional whitening will make them look like new already;o) It is normal to have stains after you have your braces removed. Give your teeth time and see your dentist to discuss further options. And teeth, which are not that straight look at least natural (look@Kate Moss)

Veneers are bloody expensive and can look terrible, if they are badly done. So pick your dentist carefully, if you decide to go for them!

Good luck!
Reply:it depends on how bad your teeth are. if your teeth are sideways and crooked. then it can be about 50,000 dollars for veeners at the most expensive. and that makes it harder for the dentist to put them on. so it could be messed up and make it more crooked. i would say go with the whitening at your reg. dentist.
Reply:That sucks that you're still not happy with your teeth. You figure after you've had braces, they'd be real nice. Was your orthodontist an idiot?

Veneers are really expensive. I've heard they run $1000/tooth. And while a lot of Hollywood people have them, they don't look like normal teeth.

Ask your dentist about a whitening treatment. That might improve them right away. And watch the sugar you eat. I think in order to get Veneers, you'll have to deal with those cavities.
