Will my teeth shift after getting my wisdom teeth removed?

I have three wisdom teeth (one genetically missing). All of which have come in fully without complication. However, my new job requires that I get them pulled. --- I have already invested $2000 in braces for 2 years. Currently my teeth are PERFECT.

Will my teeth shift after getting my wisdom teeth removed?
Not sure what kind of job you got that requires them to be removed, that seems a little weird to me. However there is a chance that they might shift a bit. Mine have shifted a little since I got them removed which was at least 6 months ago. It all depends on your teeth and jaw line.
Reply:As long as the 1st and 2nd molars are present, having 3rd molars (wisdom teeth) extracted will not cause shifting.
Reply:What the heck kind of a job do you have that requires you to get teeth out? That%26#039;s really weird. In any case, your teeth aren%26#039;t going to shift. Teeth are programed to go towards the front of your mouth so removing the ones in the back won%26#039;t hurt anything. You may still get crowding of your lower front teeth as you age do to the above movement of teeth towards the front. Hey, if they were to move toward the rear they%26#039;d be marching down your throat....how fun would that be!
