Gap between two front teeth?

Is there any way to fix the gap between my two front teeth without getting braces? All my teeth are perfect and straight because the gap. What can I do to fix it?

Gap between two front teeth?
I think braces or any kind of dental correction will only fix it.

If you do not like braces, try invisalign.
Reply:Braces, i had the same thing when i was young. Perfect teeth except the gap, It may be painful for a while but trust me, it is worth it in the long run.
Reply:You could go with the more expensive dental surgery or invisalign.

Invisialign will get the job done, but at a much slower rate than traditional braces. It%26#039;s also like twice as expensive and very high maintenance.

I think to get the best results at the quickest time, get ceramic braces (clear braces).
Reply:you%26#039;ll have to have some orthodontic work or appliance of some kind (braces or retainer).

i think gaps are endearing - a trademark like arnold!!
Reply:You can get it %26quot;filled%26quot; in...The dentist can add some type of dental composite, shape it, and fill in the gap
Reply:Leave your mouth alone. If you have nice teeth, the gap gives them character. (like the model Lauren Hutton) You could get caps. They will look nice for a while, but you will always see a line at the gums as they age. And unless you cap all the teeth, you will have trouble with your natural teeth changing color and your caps being too white to match.
Reply:I would go with either Invisilign, or depending on the size of the diastema (the gap), having a dentist do a little %26quot;bonding%26quot; to close the gap. Personally I would steer clear of anything that permanently removes healthy tooth structure such as veneers or crowns. I know alot of people who just accept it and learn to love it!! Another thing to consider is whitening....I have found that a person who has a clean, white smile is happier even if their teeth have a gap or are even crooked. Just whitening alone can build up your self-confidence tremendously!!! Just a thought!
Reply:Hi there,

I have a gap too. I went to a specialist and he said that I can have those two teeth bonded to fill in the gap. I have seen this done and it looks great but it could be costly. The only other drawback beside cost is that you shouldn%26#039;t bite on anything very hard because in some rare cases it could crack or break.
Reply:Yeah, a diastema closure can be done with composite, which is basically the white tooth filling material. The color will be matched to your natural tooth color and the gap is basically just filled it. it may make your teeth look a little wider but the dentist can always do a trial one on you and you can see if you like it. There is no drilling or anything with this procedure so its easy goin for you. The drawbacks are that yes it may fracture if excessive force is applied, but it can be fixed, and that you cant bleach your teeth because the composite wont change, although if you really wanted to one day they could remove it and replace it if you wanted to pay the extra.
