I've heard some arguments from creationists saying that god had to have created us because our bodies are so complex and perfect. That is also an argument for evolution but it goes deeper unlike the creationists'.
If we really are perfect then why would a perfect god make us get goosebumps when we are frightened? It is useful in animals with fur because it makes their hairs stand up so they appear bigger to their predators but is completely useless in humans.
Also why would a perfect god give us an appendix, a completely useless organ? It is larger and useful in herbivores which shows that they could be an ancestor.
Why would a perfect god give us wisdom teeth? As our jaws are getting smaller less teeth can fit in our mouth, which is why they are removed.
Lastly, why would a perfect god give us a coccyx, tail bone? It was useful when our ancestors had tails to help them walk upright, but they are useless now. people have had it removed and they are fine without it.
Are humans really perfect?
hey, yes all yours reasons are clearly showing that it is pretty obvious that we have evolved and were not created! it is a pity tho that as much as we try to put our point of evolution across, we seem to always be shut up, because whoever started this notion of God had already gotten God so into the minds of people, that they see no other way. even LOGIC falls away. they stop thinking, and they believe...believe something they see no evidence of proving it to be true, but they would rather accept that than open their minds to the evidence proving the truth of evolution, that floats in front of their eyes. yes it makes no sense. oh and i did go a bit off your question, but of course humans are not perfect, because they were not created by somebody, they evolved..
Reply:No, they aren't. We Aliens are.
Reply:1. I get goosebumps when I feel good or get a natural high. Much more than I ever get them from fear.
2. Look up appendix, it is part of the immune system. Remove yours and cut your life by 7 yrs and you will get at least 3 times more colds, flu's, etc.
3. Wisdom teeth are normal, but due to "modern day" people have them remove so our teeth don't buck out so much later in life. There is no real reason to remove them more than money alone. Few need them removed for actual facial reasons or not enough space. They put fluoride in our water, do you believe that is good for you? If you do, I highly urge you to research that one and what it does to the body and the compounds fluoride turn into once in the body.
4. If you think that tail bone has no use, I'll personally pay to have yours removed, I'll pay all bills, your work salary, I'll even buy you a car. Why? Cause I then can make a fortune off selling you at carnivals as the only male human that can't thrust his hips nor have sex. Research what that bone is there and what muscles are attached to it and the purpose of it......enjoy sex much?
You must of read some web site from a 15 yr old or something, cause all you state are arguments from like 1964 sorry to say. All been debunked longggggg ago.
Reply:Perfect, no, but very complex...
Reply:Only God is perfect.
Reply:Humans are not perfect. However, we can become perfect through Jesus Christ.
Reply:Not all of them, just me.

What can biting nails do to the teeth?
I've been biting my nail's for 9 years, and I would like to know what it does to my teeth.
Even though my teeth look nice and perfect, there must be something wrong because I bite my nails!
Thanks.
What can biting nails do to the teeth?
well it wont do anything to ur teeth thats for sure. but ur nails willb out of shape. also if ur nails r long then they could contaminate food stuff.
but to answer ur question ,you can continue biting off nails without affecting ur teeth
Reply:it might rub the enamel off over time but i don't think it can do real damage.
Reply:There's nothing wrong, it's just a behavior.
You may wear down your teeth slightly by biting, but probably not enough to worry about.
The best way to cure nail biting is to replace it with another behavior in response to the rough nail. Usually people bite whenever they see or feel a rough spot or broken edge on their nails. Carry a nail file and clipper with you all the time and when you feel that rough edge, file or snip it off until it's smooth.
If you tend to bite whenever you see white growth, simply clip your nails down before you get much white showing, and over time you'll find you don't want to bite it.
Try it! It helps a lot of people!
Reply:it should be the otherway around shouldn't it
Reply:it's bad habit,,,when u want to put ur nails in mouth thinks that ur nails contains millions of bacteria and germs and this is a common way of many disease transmission ...i had have the same habit and get rid of it by this way ,but it's actully not affect ur teeth ,,,good luck

I had braces 11 years ago, my teeth were straight, but I had a gap I wanted closed. The ortho used bonding....
The braces worked to a certain extent, then the orthodontist used something he called "bonding" to fill the rest of the gap closed. The gap was between my two top front teeth. I look so much better wihtout the gap, but unfortunately, after years of chewing and eating, it worked itself loose and came out, leaving me with the unsightly gap, I want it closed!!!!!! What else can I do? This is the 3rd time it has came out BTW! I went back to the same dentist each time, but now my insuarance know longer carries the old dentis, and a lot of dentist in my area don't offer bonding! The bonding was tooth colored and blended perfect!

All dentists should offer bonding. That is just another word used for a composite filling. composite means tooth colored. So just make an appointment for a composite filling. Unfortunatly they do break off with eating or bumping, there is nothing that can prevent that. The only way to permently fix it, is crowns or veneers. veneers can pop off and crack all the time as well. best best is crowns.
Reply:I'm confused here. First of all of an orthodontist did a bonding he was working out of his scope of practice. Second if it was a dentist that did the braces he wasn't working in an area he was trained in so either way you didn't get the right man for either job. When bonds are put on you are told they do not have an extremely long life, they often need replaced. Second to do a bond the tooth must be prepared and part of it is removed in that process so I'm not sure what you had was a bond but could have been. Meantime bonding is strictly cosmetic and I'm surprised your insurance paid it in the first place. I think you need to find a "good" dentist, be evaluated and see what else can be done. Lastly I would be extremely disappointed with orthodontics that did not give any better results than you are telling us you had.
Reply:I had a gap in the top front middle as well and had bonding done. This has lasted more then 12 years without any problems. I don't where you are located but the denist that did my work is Dr. JD Smith of Las Vegas, NV.
The following URL has a link to search for Dentists that do bonding all over the US.
http://www.mynewsmile.com/bonding.htm
Reply:Some general dentist do orthodontics. I worked for one. The best thing for you to do is get veneers. Expensive but look great, and they will last a lot longer.
Reply:Keep searching
Reply:You need to have a dental surgery called a frenectomy. There is a muscle between your two front teeth the keeps that space there. It's the only way to get your teeth close together. Check with your dentist and ask him about this procedure.

If you could put together the perfect Men what would he be??
If this were possible I would go right to the mall to "malesRus" and purchase a (for starters):
Attractive 6'3 or 6'4 brown with blond highlights shoulder length or longer hair, weight about 240 muscular but not to much because that is just gross, His private agenda is just nobodys business but as a female we girls know! he would have nice soft hands, beautiful smile with straight teeth, very funny,a perfect gentalmen, romantic, and loves children that's a must! and a personality that matches my own charm and wit (nationality is not a factor)
BUT INSTEAD I GOT A:
cute 5'8.. 5'10 with shoes.. black hair porcupine short, 165 pounds, brown eyes, skinny, little muscles, 10 shoe, rough hands, nice smile but jacked up teeth, can be funny but not very smart, only a gentelman after I've stood there for 5 minutes waiting for him to open the door! ok with kids, and his personality still needs work...
well... I guess that is what you get when you shop on Ebay..
If you could put together the perfect Men what would he be??
Perfect man does not exist but if I could attempt to design one: About 6' to 6'2". Long sandy blonde hair with a little wave to it. He needs to keep it groomed. Tanned skin. Muscular but not huge - I agree that is gross. Deep blue eyes. Gorgeous smile - straight white teeth. Large, strong hands to hold me and make me feel safe. No hair on his back, not too hairy anywhere else. Nice looking feet - not too rough. The perfect a$$. Dresses in tight jeans and tight t-shirt most of the time but likes to wear dress clothes on occasion. Very romantic and loving. Likes to communicate. Wants to pamper me and lets me pamper him but does not expect it. Works enough to support me but not all the time. Supports me in whatever I decide to do. There is so much more but like I said he does not exist anyway. I found a great man but there are things I wish were different.

Do they have to be perfect?
Your teeth don't have to be perfect. If a girl is worth your time, she will love you despite your imperfections.
Reply:they don't have to be perfect. but if you're bothered by it that much, dont get braces, get a retainer. theyre cheaper and you can take them out, they helped my teeth out alot
Reply:It wouldn't matter to me but a lot of people these days are really shallow. Braces do hurt when you first get them in and for a while after. I'm pretty sure that after a while you get used to them.
Reply:hhhmmm... i think it depends how bad they were. i would probably pass...i fall in love with amazing smiles. but i know its about the person but if i am not attracted to it then i can't be 100% attracted to the guy. but that is just me of course confidence is also a key selling point ! so walk into a froom with confidence!
Reply:Alot of girls will notice your teeth but if your personality outshines your insecurities.......you'll be fine.

The case of the "missing" GOLD teeth...?
A friends wife, (who is mentally unstable), was in state care for about 3 months....
When she was released... her husband noticed ...
Several of her teeth were MISSING....
Including a couple of GOLD teeth that "were" in perfect condition...
She told him she was sedated one night and woke up, the next morning, with the(5) teeth missing....
Is this theft or/and how should be handled?
Gold is $750.00 an oz. now! WHO WILL BE NEXT!
Any suggestions!..........
The case of the "missing" GOLD teeth...?
he needs to inquire with her care giver there, what happened and why.
if he is given the run-around, then he needs to get an attorney and file-malpractice suit with the institution or Dr. she was with.
EVERY SINGLE thing that was done to her, given to her, etc should be documented in her medical file at the state hospital. if not, then they were negligent and can be held accountable. also, he needs to be able to prove with dental records that those teeth were present and hadn't been pulled prior to her stay with the state.
good luck and take care.
Reply:If this is true, your friend's wife should get a lawyer. If she can prove that she had gold teeth before she went into care (dental records), she may be able to file a "res ipsa loquitor" claim. Essentially, it puts the burden of proof on the defendant. The facility would have to prove what happened to her teeth and further prove that it was not their fault. She really needs to obtain legal counsel.
